About

Jozette Allah-Mensah is a Ghanaian-American writer, Yaa Asantewaa enthusiast, happily ever after aficionado, and will judge you for eating fufu with a spoon. (Respectfully.) She graduated from American University with a degree in Journalism, as the commencement speaker for her graduation, and as the School of Communication’s Woman of the Year. Currently, she’s an MPA candidate and works in the non-profit, advocacy world. When not writing, you can find Jozette playing her ukulele, watching reruns of Monk, or swooning over a new scrumdiddlyumptious romance read.

Jozette resides in a very cute Maryland town with many cows, but it’d only take an old testament-esque cocktail for her to stumble into the surrounding West Virginia mountains, meadows of Virginia, or traffic of Washington D.C.
